Can Stone-Shield be washed and waxed?

Yes you may wash and wax your car as if Stone-Shield were not present. In fact, we suggest you wax the Stone-Shield protective layer after installation just the same as you would the rest of the car, to ensure against uneven fading of your car’s paint.

If I sell my car can Stone-Shield Paint Protection Film be removed?

Yes, Stone-Shield has an acrylic adhesive which can be safely removed without residue, leaving your car looking as great as the day you bought it.

Will Stone-Shield Paint Protection diminish the appearance of my car?

Is the Film cut on the vehicle?

Will the paint fade differently under the film to the rest of the car?

No the material contains UV inhibitors to prevent the film from reacting to the sun’s rays, but still allows a certain amount to filter through the material and onto the surface to let the paint age with the rest of the vehicle.
